As a Customer Liaison Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening our brand presence and cultivating meaningful relationships within your assigned territory. Your primary focus will be to deliver an exceptional customer experience, support brand initiatives, and ensure optimal market coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Territory Management: – Develop and execute a structured visit plan to ensure consistent, high-impact coverage across all designated outlets, aligned with business objectives.
- Customer Relationship Development: – Build and nurture long-term partnerships with customers by delivering value-driven service and support, tailored to their specific needs. Initiate and maintain relationships with customers, serving as their primary point of contact throughout the sales process.
- Brand Advocacy and Communication: – Act as a brand ambassador by consistently communicating the company’s vision, values, and product offerings in a compelling and professional manner.
- Reporting – Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts, providing regular updates to management.
- Collaboration – Work closely with marketing and other departments to align sales strategies and improve overall customer experience.
Experience & Qualifications Required:
- A proven track record in cultivating strong customer relationships and driving customer satisfaction.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational abilities.
- Prior experience in the FMCG industry, with solid knowledge of retail detailing, merchandising, and promotional execution.
- Proficiency in English; fluency in an additional regional language will be advantageous.
- Relevant Higher Certificate, Advanced Certificate, or Diploma (NQF Level 6) qualification.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, learn quickly, and take initiative.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable personal transport.
- Pharmaceutical experience advantageous.
- Experience: Proven work experience as a Sales Representative or in a similar sales role is advantageous.
- Sales Presentations: Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate contracts and close sales, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any objections or concerns.
- Ability to meet set targets. Ability to meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.
- Product Knowledge: Understand and promote the company’s products and services, effectively communicating their benefits to potential customer
